Start Your Journey to Professional Success

WFCCA strongly believes in the importance of continuous learning and networking for family child care providers, to ensure that children receive the highest quality of care. Here are some of the professional development opportunities we provide:

Monthly HUDDLE Meetings

Our monthly Huddles provide a space for family child care providers to collaborate, share best practices, and discuss challenges common to our profession. Just as in a sports huddle, we come together as teammates to share information and motivate each other. Expect engaging conversations, information on current trends in the profession, and focused training during these sessions. Kick off on Zoom at 1:30 the fourth Tuesday of the month. Hosts understand the demands of caring for young children, so feel free to pop in and out as needed. Our main goal is to provide support through shared experiences and to give all Huddle attendees a feeling of connection! To receive the schedule, join the Huddle email list with your name, child care name, city, and email address.

Regional Mini-Conferences

If you find it hard to get away for a full conference, a mini-conference is the perfect alternative! Time-saving and cost-effective, our mini-conferences bring family child care providers together to collaborate, learn, and grow. Enjoy the same opportunities for meaningful conversations, professional growth, and building community with fellow early childhood professionals as a traditional conference, but in a shorter format. Each mini-conference offers a complete day of training conducted by industry experts, accompanied by a light lunch - all at an affordable price! Attend your region’s next mini-conference to expand your horizons, make new friends, and ignite passion for making a positive impact in the world. Contact your local Regional Representative for information about Mini-Conferences in your area.
