Fostering Relationships

Stay Connected with Early Childhood Colleagues and WFCCA

When asked about the most valuable benefit of membership, the majority of WFCCA members said it’s the connections they make. Members appreciate the camaraderie within the organization. The friendships they build and the strong sense of support are key reasons why members love being part of WFCCA.

Stay Connected with WFCCA

WFCCA offers many ways to stay connected, no matter where you are in the state. Join our vibrant online trainings and social media platforms to engage in discussions, seek advice, and share your experiences. Prefer face-to-face connections? Our statewide conference and regional mini-conferences provide excellent opportunities to meet other family child care providers, exchange ideas, and build relationships that last a lifetime.

  • Join our monthly Facebook HUDDLES, led by WFCCA Secretary Mary Olson. Each session dives into a fresh topic and offers engaging, uplifting conversations with fellow providers.
  • Stay connected through our newsletter, packed with updates, resources, and news from the WFCCA community. It’s a simple way to stay informed and connected to the larger family child care across Wisconsin.

Make Connections Locally

Family child care is deeply rewarding, but it can sometimes feel lonely without co-workers by your side. Fortunately, many support groups across Wisconsin are eager to welcome you. We’ve compiled a list of groups below—let us know if we’ve missed any. If there isn’t one in your area, reach out to your local Child Care Resource and Referral, or consider starting a group of your own. Many WFCCA members are glad to help you get started.
